After graduating in Textile Marketing and a career in European Textiles, Jane Steele moved to Nova Scotia in 2010 and planned a way to put her knowledge and love of colour, fabric and design into business. She was introduced to Cheticamp hooking by Dr. Marie Elwood, and later learned how to hook and quickly became “hooked”. Jane’s preference is a primitive style with a lot of different textures, colours and experimentation. Her love of drawing translates to original designs that are available for sale in the shop.
